A couple had recently renovated and modernised their property but their garden was certainly not showcasing their efforts! They wanted to have a complete modern experience that was translated from the inside out.
Miles spoke to the owners and took the time to understand their vision using their extension as a starting point. He discussed everything from choosing the right plants and hardscaping materials to designing a patio that wouldn’t dominate the space. The seating area we created provided an opportunity for the owners to relax in the sunshine, listening to the grasses and plants blowing in the breeze. Using multiple different materials across different levels provided a cohesive design that enhances the space.
Stepping down from the flagstones onto the gravel steps and pathway allows the owners to engage with their senses. Raised beds, finished with sleepers to create a modern design, provide a perfect habitat for carpenter bees.
